隨著一個(gè)堅(jiān)定的腳步，空靈的樂(lè)聲從1400年前穿越而來(lái)，這是一段執(zhí)著的跋涉，這是一首堅(jiān)韌的贊歌，讓我們跟隨玄奘西行的歷史故事，在民族樂(lè)器中尋覓古樂(lè)精髓，感受中國(guó)音樂(lè)的前世今生……世界首部民族器樂(lè)劇《玄奘西行》由著名作曲家姜瑩作為作曲、編劇、總導(dǎo)演。此次演出經(jīng)中華人民共和國(guó)文化和旅游部批準(zhǔn)，由中國(guó)甘肅演藝集團(tuán)歌舞劇院攜手國(guó)內(nèi)多位藝術(shù)家共同在新加坡濱海藝術(shù)中心傾力呈現(xiàn)。活動(dòng)由新加坡佛教施診所主辦，大唐文化公司承辦。

以民族樂(lè)器為表演主體，將戲劇藝術(shù)和器樂(lè)演奏相融合，全劇涵蓋了絲綢之路上共60多種不同類型的樂(lè)器，包括當(dāng)代中國(guó)民族管弦樂(lè)隊(duì)的常用樂(lè)器、敦煌復(fù)原樂(lè)器、新疆傳統(tǒng)樂(lè)器、印度傳統(tǒng)樂(lè)器等四大類，展現(xiàn)了絲綢之路上多元風(fēng)格特征的音樂(lè)文化，讓我們以音樂(lè)為橋，開(kāi)啟一段新絲綢之路文化旅程……

第一曲《大乘天》管弦樂(lè)

遠(yuǎn)山如黛、云?？~緲?？侦`的樂(lè)聲從1400年前穿越而來(lái)，帶您觸摸塵封的歷史，引您去造訪一位被世人尊稱為“大乘天”的高僧。

1.Mahayanadeva

High and distant mountains are surrounded by misty clouds, Ethereal music originated from 1,400 years ago is heard.It unveils the dust-laden history by exploring the life of a legendary monk holding the noblest title of Mahayanadeva, or Celestial Being of the Higher Order.

2.Buddhism

After the young Xuanzang became a Buddhist monk, he studied Buddhism with his masters,As time went by and his faith held firm,he looked forward and was determined to a journey to the west.

3.Desire

A twist of desire makes the difference of heaven and hell. without desire,the order of Buddhism is preserved.By Hulu River,a Hun in exile was bewitched by evil spirits.Danger was approaching.

4.At  the  Pass

Outside the Yumen Pass,Xuanzang was captured by the regiment holding the fortification,He felt no fear when the drums cast menacing sound,oved,Captain WangXiang vowed to escort Xuanzang to pass.

5.Lost  and  Seek

Xuanzang was alone passing through the sea of desert.Almost lost,he sought the road to the west,Ahigherbeing warned him and asked him to think otherwise,But Xuanzang was determined:"I shall not retreat till l make to Nalanda the  holy  land.”

Buddhist chant could be heard,light could be seen as Xuanzang dreamt about the holy land.when he woke up by the Wild Horse creek,he found the clear running water shining under sunshine.

The King of the ancient nation Gaochang welcomed Xuanzang and treated him with a banquet,joined by the King of Wusun,highlighted by ethnic musicians and their virtuosic playing.

9.Save the  Lost

10.Snow Mountain

Up on the mountain the harsh snow blocked the road and froze the blood.It also expelled all wulgar thoughts. Xuanzang remembered that he was empowered by a group of brave Tajik people during this dificult time to continue the journey.

11.The Rite for Heaven

Asxuanzang advanced,he came across a tribe suffering fom years"of drought where its soil developed erosion and its people in jeopardy,when the tribe was about to devote the life of a tribe man to the goddess,Xuanzang learnt and stood out,  willing to sacrifce himself.

菩提迦葉、一樹(shù)芬芳，踏上圣土，百感交集。佛祖的召喚 愈來(lái)愈近，引路人早已恭候多時(shí)，那爛陀就在前方。

12.Bodhi

Xuanzang was overwhelmed as he set foot on the border of the holy land where sacred fig lined up by the streetsand the call of the Buddha could be perceived. Nalanda monks prepared a  grand reception to welcome the arrival of Xuanzang.

13.Nalanda

Enduring hardships   and  experiencing  life  and  death,  adetermined Xuanzang eventually reached Nalanda, the holy land of Buddha.
